  • Relevant insurance policies very rarely convers all aspects of the medical air evacuation you need and deserve. Other Air Ambulance Membership Programs?

  • They all cost hundreds of dollars a year for even their most basic plans - some over a thousand $ for fewer restrictions and more complete protection (...but, still short of "Assurance").   • Only AirMed owns its  own fleet and employes all crews, medical staff and support personnel. Most other carrier own some or most of their fleet but also may depend upon third-party ad hoc contracts with charter jet carriers. Often, they are only able to ensure fast response and completed itineraries by converting their normal passenger jets available to medically-configured, crewed and supplied aircraft.  Sometimes multiple craft and crew changeovers take place at airports along the route.)

  • Check your current policy. Almost no policies include global bedside-to-bedside air ambulance transport. Even if available or added on, really none ensure the caliber of services, the most limited restrictions, as NorthPoint Insurance…certainly at a cost nearly as low.

  • No comparison. Not to take anything away from other great global air ambulance carrieers. (we need all we can get around the world) …but AirMed is the gold standard, and NorthPoint’s revolutionary “Assurance” Membership Program is, by far, the most completely featured and yet most affordable in the industry.

  • No.

    Insurance is a specifially regulated industry. NorthPoint’s membership program is a subscription-based services providing potential bedside-to-bedside medical air transport services. The membership dues are essentially pre-paymenet for services potentially provided. The program is not considered insurance under federal or state regulations. Of course, the Program must carefully abide by all other relevant laws, regulations and certification requirements governing equipment, flight crews, medical care proficiency…. and many other standards and best practices.

  • AirMed, of course, puts the patient’s well-being ahead of all other considerations. So, In rare cases of geography , weather, political or other circumstances , if AirMed is not the fastest, safest, most suitable carrier, AirMed will supplement ore refer to the best carrier available —It has long-standing trusted relationships several trusted carriers

  • That’s not the case at all.

    Some carriers charge less for “basic” services, more for additional benefits.

    NorthPoint makes no such compromises. Each membership is for the most complete, least limited services.

    The low cost comes from the community expense sharing by members (including the military).

  • Those are not included in the NorthPoint member benefits, since they are not predictable and controllable. NP recommends you look for those benefits in your accident, auto, health or other insurance policies and consider purchasing additional coverage when traveling abroad alone, or with family.
